Graphic design printing costs

As a business you may have material that you need to have printed out such as business cards, flyers, banners and letterheads / compliments slips. Not only will you need to pay a graphic designer to actually create the proofs of these for you but you will then need to pay for the physical printing of them. Printing costs can very quickly spiral and therefore many businesses are always looking for ways to cut costs.

Firstly always ensure that what you are sending to print is correct and has been proof read by more than one person. Simply typos or incorrect phone numbers for example can lead to the whole project having to be reprinted at your own cost.

Secondly, when having material printed, it is often a lot cheaper to have it done in bulk. So if you are confident that you will use them all before the details need changing then you should have as many printed at the same time as possible to keep costs down.
